Divakar S. Mithal, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Neurology and Epliepsy) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Chicago, USA). Dr. Mithal’s research focuses on the basic mechanisms whereby brain cells regulate their cellular metabolism and his clinical work is centered on managing the care of children with critical neurologic illnesses, including primary mitochondrial diseases.
