Michaela Veliova, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher in the laboratory of Dr. José Antonio Enríquez at the Spanish National Centre for Cardiovascular Research. She earned her PhD in molecular and medical pharmacology from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she trained in the laboratory of Dr. Orian Shirihai.
